Hotel Plakures was planned and built by Kramer architects.
The Greek-German family of Vagionakis-Kramer have run the hotel as a traditional family business ever since.

Georgios Vagionakis and Beate Vagionaki-Kramer live at Plakures with their three children.
Georgios Vagionakis is the hotel manager and Beate Vagionaki-Kramer manages the restaurant.
